Troubleshooting
This guide explains how affiliate commissions are calculated, how partner balances and payouts are managed, and how you can process payouts using supported payment methods.
As a program manager or partner, understanding how commissions move from pending to paid ensures smooth financial operations and accurate tracking.
To understand how payouts work, it is helpful to know the lifecycle of a commission and the states a payout can take:
Commissions that are due are automatically aggregated into payouts based on partner holding periods and program rules. Workspace administrators can review and confirm payouts through the program dashboard.
Partners can receive their funds through several supported payout providers and channels. When a partner sets up their account, the system automatically detects active capabilities and assigns a default payout method.
Supported payout methods include:

Partners must have payouts enabled and a valid receiving account (such as a connected Stripe account, PayPal email, or a valid crypto wallet/stablecoin setup) before funds can be transferred.
Tip
Automatic Aggregation: The system automatically runs hourly cron jobs to aggregate due commissions into payouts once their holding periods have elapsed, reducing manual administrative work.
Warning
Failed Bank Accounts: If a partner's connected bank account or payout method has an error or is invalid, the system skips automatic payouts and notifies the partner that action is required to update their details.
