## Overview

Partner Program Management enables you to kickstart product-led growth by establishing and running branded affiliate and referral programs. With these tools, you can configure reward structures, manage partner applications, create custom referral links, track partner performance, and scale your affiliate network.

---

## Establishing an Affiliate Program

To launch a partner program for your workspace, you will go through a program creation flow where you specify your branding, landing page details, and initial rules.

1. Navigate to your workspace dashboard and select the option to create a new program.
2. Provide your program details, including:
   - Program name and slug.
   - Your program domain and target destination URL.
   - Support email, help documentation URL, and terms of service URL.
   - Program logo branding.
3. Configure your default reward structure and partner group settings.
4. Save your program settings to publish your affiliate onboarding and referral tracking workflows.

> [!NOTE]
> Creating a partner program requires a workspace plan with active program management capabilities, such as the Business, Advanced, or Enterprise plans.

## Setting Reward Structures

### Overview of Reward Structures

You can incentivize partners by assigning rewards based on different conversion events. Reward amounts can be structured as flat fees or percentages, and can apply to specific actions or recur over time.

### Supported Reward Events
- **Click**: Rewards partners for generating traffic clicks.
- **Lead**: Rewards partners when a referred user signs up or becomes a lead.
- **Sale**: Rewards partners for completed purchases or revenue generation.
- **Referral**: Rewards partners for recruiting other active partners into your program.
- **Custom**: Flexible custom reward types tailored to your program rules.

### Reward Configuration Options

| Option | Description |
| :--- | :--- |
| `type` | The calculation method for the reward: flat rate or percentage. |
| `amountInCents` | The fixed monetary amount given per event (when using flat rewards). |
| `amountInPercentage` | The percentage of revenue awarded per sale. |
| `maxDuration` | The time limit for recurring rewards (e.g., monthly for a set duration, or lifetime). |
| `modifiers` | Advanced rules or conditions (such as product-specific or country-specific overrides). |

> [!TIP]
> You can set default rewards at the partner group level or apply advanced overrides to specific individual partner links if your plan supports advanced reward logic.

## Reviewing and Managing Partner Applications

### Overview of Application Management

Once your program is live, prospective partners can apply to join, or you can recruit them directly from the partner network.

### Step-by-Step Application Review

1. Go to your program's **Partners** or **Partner Network** dashboard to view incoming applications and enrolled affiliates.
2. Review partner profiles, including their connected social platforms (such as Website, YouTube, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok) and country details.
3. Approve or reject applications:
   - **Approved**: Grants the partner access to the program, automatically generates their default referral link, and enrolls them into the designated partner group.
   - **Rejected**: Denies access to the program. You can optionally record rejection reasons and internal notes.

> [!WARNING]
> Inactive or rejected enrollments prevent partners from generating new referral links or earning commissions within that specific program.
