## Overview

Affiliate Partner Programs enable businesses to kickstart viral, product-led growth by creating powerful, branded referral and affiliate programs. With Dub Partners, workspace administrators can easily set up and manage affiliate programs, configure reward structures, invite partners, track performance, and automate payouts globally.

Partners can join your program, share unique referral links, track their clicks, leads, and sales conversions, and receive earnings seamlessly.

## Creating and Managing Programs

### Setting Up a Program

Workspace owners and members on eligible plans can create and configure affiliate partner programs. 

1. Navigate to your workspace dashboard in Dub.
2. Click on the **Program** section in the sidebar.
3. Follow the onboarding prompts to define your program details, such as program name, custom domain, target website URL, support email, help URL, and terms of service.
4. Set up your default reward structures and invite your initial partners.

> Creating and managing affiliate programs requires a workspace plan with partner capabilities enabled (Business, Advanced, or Enterprise plans).

## Partner Onboarding and Links

### Partner Links & Attribution

Partners can join your affiliate program through public application pages or direct email invitations. Once approved, partners gain access to a dedicated dashboard where they can manage their links and view real-time statistics.

* **Referral Links:** Partners receive unique referral links (e.g., `https://partners.dub.co/your-program/apply?via=username` or custom short links) to drive traffic.
* **Attribution Window:** Conversions are attributed on a last-click basis. New customers who sign up for a paid plan within 90 days of using a partner's referral link count as a successful conversion.
* **Self-Referrals:** Self-referrals are automatically restricted to ensure program integrity and prevent users from getting discounts on their own accounts.

## Commission Structures and Tiers

### Reward Types and Triggers

Dub supports flexible reward and commission models that can be customized to match your business goals. Programs can reward partners based on specific user actions and reward configurations:

| Reward Type / Event | Description |
| :--- | :--- |
| **Click** | Earn a commission based on link clicks. |
| **Lead** | Earn a commission when a referred user signs up or becomes a lead. |
| **Sale** | Earn a flat fee or a percentage of the customer's subscription or sale amount. |
| **Partner Referral** | Earn a percentage of referred partners' payout fees or bonuses for a set duration. |

> Advanced plans allow you to configure dynamic click, lead, or sale-based rewards with country and product-specific modifiers, as well as automated partner group move rules based on performance.

## Payouts and Earnings

Partners can track their upcoming and paid earnings directly within their referral dashboard. 

* **Withdrawals and Payout Methods:** Partners can connect their preferred payout methods to withdraw earnings once they meet program criteria (such as completing at least one sale).
* **Supported Payout Regions:** Payout methods and services like Tremendous are supported across eligible countries worldwide.
* **Admin Controls:** Workspace administrators can view partner performance, manage manual commissions or clawbacks, and process global payouts seamlessly.

> Ensure all affiliate promotions comply with FTC guidelines. Partners must clearly disclose their financially compensated relationship when sharing referral links on social media or other platforms.
